Moksha

Moksha is not an event.

Moksha is to know that what exists is Brahman only.

To know that, that Brahman is me is knowledge.

Me is not the transactor that I am.

Here 'me' is the basis of all transactions.

It is the ever present I which cannot be sublated.

That Brahman is I . This is knowledge.

That I am Brahman , that I am everything, that nothing is apart from me is Moksha.

Success

When effort, Time and Daiva work together there is success.

Effort is in your hands.

Every endeavor has a time span. Have the patience to wait for the span to get completed.
Daiva is not in your hands. It is in God's hands. By prayer you gain the grace of God.

Grace comes as hope.

Pour all your enthusiasm, expertise, talent, tact and knowledge into your effort. Commit yourself to your effort.

Every seed has its own time span to sprout.

Give a reasonable time span for your efforts to fructify.

Pray fervently to God and heartily seek His help.

Surrender

Thy will be done, not mine.
Let me not resist God who expresses Himself as the order of Creation.
Whatever happens is in harmony with God. To accept totally the past , the living and moving present , without any demur or resistance is surrender.
God is the lord of the law of KARMA. He gives us our deserts as per the chart of Karma. He is called the Karma Phala data. What we do brings a result. Where we do works on the result. The forces in creation affect our results. The resolution of all these three is what we get as our deserts. The inexorable law that governs the entire process is called God (Iswara). As we sow we reap. Depending on several factors what we sow germinates and gradually bears fruit. Just as the growth of the seed depends on the nature of the seed, the nature of the soil, the atmosphere, the sunlight, the moonlight, the irrigation we do, so too what we do, where we do, how we do, with whom we do, with what intentions we do decides our deserts.
To know that there is a power unseen which shapes our ends, rough hue them how we will, is surrender.
In Him we live, by His behest which is beneficial to one and all in all periods of time should we do.
O Lord let Thy will be done not mine.
Grant not what I ask, grant what is good and noble. If what I ask is in harmony with Thine will please do grant. This is my prayer.

The GAYATRI mantra!

Gayatri is otherwise called savitri. It is a synonym for the sun god surya.
With this mantra we recharge our intellects and pray for clarity and wisdom at the intellectual level.

The mantra translated will be:

O ADORABLE GOD OF LIGHT THAT ILLUMINES THE THE ENTIRE CREATION AS THE OBJECTLESS CONSCIOUSNESS,

I SEEK YOUR BLESSINGS BY MEDITATING ON YOUR EFFULGENCE.YOU ARE THE ONE THAT ENLIGHTENS ALL THE GODS.

MAY YOU INSPIRE OUR INTELLECTS AND MAKE US SEE CLEARLY, JUDGE PROPERLY, DISCRIMINATE WISELY AND HELP US TAKE DECISIONS CORRECTLY.

HELP US BE AT THE RIGHT PLACE, RIGHT TIME WITH ALL OUR INSTRUMENTS IN PERFECT CONDITION.YOU ARE THE ONE PERVADING ALL THE THREE PLANES OF CONSCIOUSNESS.

In Sanskrit the text reads:

OM BHUR BHUVAH SUVAH

TAT SAT SAVITUR VAREENYAM

BARGO DEVASYA DHIMAHE

DHIYO YO NAH PRACHODAYAT...

IDENTITY

IDENTITY

What a wonder.Am I important or my identity.?
Everywhere you are asked to identify yourself.
I am is a fact . I exist is a fact. I am alive is a fact.
who I am is a notion built by me on the findings of a net work of transactions I went through. This notion is ephemeral, subject to change and hence is not me . It is about me. the Truth is I exist .If this is so, one is made to ask why I should identify myself ? Is it because society wants me to differentiate myself from others? My very very presence which is gross and tangible will make others recognize me, for no two are alike.
We talk of freedom , but every where we are asked to identify ourselves. Can't one live in tne world unidentified. Only human beings are asked to identify themselves. The other living and non living ones pass of peacefully in this planet of ours.
A non demanding person should be allowed to pass through life without proving himself to others. That I exist needs no proof when I am there alive.

This was not the case a decade ago. Now fictitious identities have grown like fungus or mushrooms every where . Should this be so ?

Think. ponder, reflect and comment

Your IDENTITY,

Often we are asked, "Who are you?".
The answer we give is riddled with several choices. There is the real I, the Truth of ourselves and the transactional "I". This transactional one alone has several choices. Depending on what we identify with we create an identity, the which becomes an answer for the question, "who are you ? ". For example if I identify with my body I say I am fair complexioned, tall, handsome etc. If I identify with my mind and the several thoughts that pass through the mind, then there are several identities. for example, I am not feeling well, I am sick, I am angry, I am worried, agitated, I am very clear etc. When I identify with my birth and lineage I say I am blue blooded, I am a Brahmin, a Kshatriya, vaisya etc. Identity with the country makes me say I am an Indian, American, British, Chinese, Japanese etc. When I identify with my senses, I say I am blind, I am deaf, I am dumb, etc. Identity with the organs of action makes me take the identity "I" am lame, halt etc.
As these identities are organ or instrument, or idea - oriented they don't invoke the real " I ". The truth is I am not these, but the one with these possessions or titles.

THE REAL 'I' IS UNIDENTIFIABLE for it is free from all relationships.

So we conclude that Identity is relation -oriented.
So the answer to the question "Who are YOU?" from the absolute stand point will be:

I AM THAT I AM.

( Discussion on this is welcome )

Freedom and Bondage

Living life entirely in the Known breeds endless conflict and misery.
FEAR OF FACTS LEADS TO BONDAGE.
Awareness of fact is Freedom.
Meditation frees you from narrowness and limitation.

Knowing is not learning. Knowing is accumulation and recognition.
Accumulation prevents learning, distorts and puts an end to Learning.
EVERY MOMENT WE LEARN.

WHEN MIND LOSES ITS SLAVERY TO WORDS AND ITS REACTIONS, MEDITATION GETS FULFILLED.

Thought should not shape the mind.
Mind should cease to be the framework of ideas.
Free yourself from idea and relationship and go deep in Meditation.

Time really does not exist, it is a concept of the mind.
Pleasure measures time quickly and pain does it slowly.
Waking time does not agree with dreaming time or sleeping time.
Beyond the pale of Time is Aananda which is not bliss but eternity.
