From the Swamiji!

This blog contains material on vedanta, punctuated with English and American literature.
As far as possible the material is validated by the parampara in Brahma Vidya and Aatma Vidya.
The point of view held is projected in the material on English literature and American literature.
The material comes out of a rich experience the Swami had as a Professor of English in the C N Mahajana College, Erode and later in D G Vaishnav College, Arumbakkam, Madras (Chennai), for a period 1965 - 1991 ie 26 years.
The Swamiji has a deep knowledge in human Psychology.
He has a rich experience in vedic worship and vaidik fire sacrifice done by him in his poorvashrama.
He has to his credit about 160 Gita jnana yagnas held over a wide range of places in India.
He also has to his credit the unique opportunity of addressing international people in the world peace conference in the hotel Taj in the 1980's.
The American novelist Malcom J Bosse, dedicated his novel "Ganesh" to the Swamiji who was then Prof. C. G. Vasudevan.
Dr. Malcom J Bosse was also a very close friend of the Swamiji in his poorvashrama, when the novelist was on the staff of the English Dept. in the Madras University on an exchange programme.
Swamiji taught the novelist Yoga and the significance of Gayatri Mantra.

  1. Iswara is completeness. Surrender consists in opening out to completeness. In the full and the complete how can there be any limitation? open out your problems to the whole and see how it gets disssolved in the full which is Purnatwa.
